Home Page Welcome

Welcome to Keith Wightman Public School!

Located in the vibrant South end of Peterborough, our school has been serving the community since 1955. With a student population of approximately 250, we are a K-6 School that feeds into Kenner Collegiate. Our students are dynamic, curious, and full of energy, always eager to learn and make meaningful connections. As a trauma-informed school, we prioritize inclusivity, equity, and community, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported. We are dedicated to providing individualized care that helps each child succeed.

Our dedicated staff is passionate and kind, working tirelessly to create an environment where our students can thrive. We are committed to continuous professional growth and using research-based practices to improve student outcomes. We foster strong relationships with our students, families, and community partners, to ensure our students have the support they need.

At Keith Wightman, we believe in connecting with students before correcting them and creating a school where every child feels they belong. Our school spirit is strong, with our school colours of blue and orange worn proudly every Wednesday!

We are excited for the future as we prepare to expand to include Grade 7 and Grade 8. We are a school community that works together to ensure all students have the opportunity to thrive.
