Keith Wightman Public School was constructed in 1955 and an addition was added in 1965. It is located in the city of Peterborough, a community of about 80,000, north and east of Toronto. The location of the school on St. Mary's street has a beautiful yard surrounding the school and a comfortable school facility for students and staff. Volunteers play an important role by providing extra academic support for students, helping with the breakfast and milk programs as well as other areas of the school. Our school council is active in fundraising as well as providing input and giving feedback on a variety of school issues. Today the school has 225 students.
